Our customer called us with a request to schedule an appointment as soon as possible because their refrigerator didn’t cool any more and all their food was going to spoil if we don’t repair the fridge the same day.
The technician arrived on site 3 hours after the call and diagnosed a failure in the electric circuit of the refrigerator’s evapoarator sensor. This sensor is directly involved in the evaporator defrost system. If defrost cycle doesn’t start on time evaporator gets covered in an ice build-up which jeopardizes normal airflow from a freezer into a fridge. It also prevents the air circulation inside of the freezer.
Fortunately, our technician had a sensor available in his truck and the issue was resolved right away.
